Lucy passed away

She died Thursday sometime overnight. It was just too much for her. We are in shock and just beyond heartbroken. She was barely one. We hadn't had her even a year. The kids just sobbed and sobbed.

I don't even understand how she got a sock. We kept her tethered in the house or in her crate. She never got to just roam free.

Thanks for all of the well wishes and concern.

Our house seems so empty :(

I am so sorry for your loss. This is a difficult time for your family but eventually the pain will ease and you'll remember all the joy she brought you in her short life. Keeping your family in my thoughts.

Oh my goodness. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have been watching your posts, because we went through a number of scares with our little guy. Our curious puppies find things we don't even know that we have. You must all be heartbroken.

Oh, so sorry to hear this! Puppies get into things in the blink of an eye, no matter how careful we are at watching them. Lucy looks absolutely precious! I hope you have lots of photos and good memories, those will help as time goes by.
