HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

Is anyone prepared for the slide show I was supposed to put up today?  I can't figure out the best way to announce this...

Who has a "Me and My Doodle" photo ready for our slide show today?  I count 4 photos.  What is the best way for me to announce these things?  Is a discussion on DK best? Is a mass email to all DK members best?  Is it best on FB?  I can do them all, but some methods yield better results.  If I post the list of photo themes in advance do you still need reminders?  How often or how far in advance?  HELP!

I also want to know HOW MANY DK MEMBERS really get excited about the front page slide show?  Is it just 20 out of 13,000 or do we have more than that?  Is it worth all the announcements?  I want to invest my time into something that results in good participation.

Adina, it is one of my favorite parts of DK!  Then again, I love pictures period, especially of Doodles!  Then again I am one of over thirteen thousand, so who knows?   LOL
