Yes, I did get some brush strokes in the painting.  I used the pallet knife on the bridge and it worked great for the supports (up and down strands).  I worked on the sushi plate today and it is looking good.  I'll post photos when I am done with it but that will be several weeks.  I like working with the same photo in several different ways.  It is a great challenge for me.

The tidepooling dog is Carmel Beach but the photo with the bike in front is San Francisco.

Well, I got Painter 15 installed on my computer for a month to try it out.  Now I am trying to decide which photo to work on.  I tend toward Hondo tidepooling but I have already done that one several times.  Maybe as a paint over it will be somewhat different.  Also got Aida 11 gauge needlepoint fabric this week and need to get it printed and start to work on it.  So much to do!  Maybe Harpo running in the lupines?

I wanted a baby photo of Harpo since I have baby giclees of Hondo and Groucho Too.  Tried to find the one of him running in the lupines, but couldn't find it, so I tried painting the photo of him running at Asilomar Beach.  I'm not much of a painter, but I tried Painter 15 and this is what I got.
