In case you forget your ID and need some alcohol...try canine homeopathy...

Have you seen these in PetCo?  I have to look now.  Apparently Good Dog homeopathic whatever contains 13% alcohol.

Easier to just take a swig from your little bottle of vanilla extract, with 35% alcohol it's got the doggy snake oil beat.

I guess we know now why this product is sold for the purpose of "calming" dogs, lol. A couple of cocktails certainly calms me.

People start petitions for the silliest things.

My vanilla bottles are barely a shot in size.

I am no fan of homeopathy as you know. But having a teaspoon in drinking water twice a day is hardly like swigging down a whole bottle. I don't know that it will do any harm or good.

I didn't know what the dosage size is...is that what it is?  1 tsp in drinking water is neither homeopathy or at all effective, I imagine.  But funny.  And homeopathy is my absolute most favorite hokum of all time.

That's what the directions say. Some people will no doubt swear by it :-)
Wait a sec. Is it by weight or merely 1tsp. Someone claims it is 2tsp twice daily per 10lb of body weight.
I looked online and I tsp in drinking water twice a day what I saw. So depending how much a dog drinks it could vary a lot. Since it is probably is useless I guess it doesn't matter :-)
Anyway I now see Petco has removed it.

OMD - now I have heard it all.  Calming your dogs, calming your kids, calming yourself!  Why do you need to turn to alcohol to do that?  How about a nice warm bed with a doodle to keep you warm?  Works for me.

This is actually pretty funny if it wasn't for the fact that there might actually be some people who will give this to their dogs "unwittingly".   This is my first exposure to "Science Babe"...so interesting.  Years ago we had a friend who used to pour a little beer in the dog's water and I wanted to report him for animal abuse....I'm not sure this is any different.

But homeopathy is completely plausible.

Wait... it's not. ;)

So now when you give your dog a drink, you can really give them a 'drink'. Apparently the petition worked and it's being removed from the stores. :>) Now I have to go and check out my vanilla.
