Marlowe and Parvo

This morning our fifteen-week-old Goldendoodle Marlowe tested positive for the Parvovirus.  She had already been vaccinated and given her first booster shot and she never leaves our yard, but she still managed to get sick.  Our vet said we were his fifth case this week.  She's currently at the vet on an IV and we are hoping she pulls through this.  :( Please keep our baby in your thoughts!

She's home! She's home! She's home!

Marlowe isn't 100% yet and still feels pretty crappy, but they thought she would do much better at home for the end of her healing process.  I was in tears at the vet.  When she saw me she wouldn't stop wiggling until she was in my arms and she licked my face and was so happy and energetic!  She played a little bit when we got home, but she got tired pretty quickly.  She's on nausea medication since she's still getting pretty nauseated, but as long as she's eating, we are almost at the end of this horrible thing!  THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU for being such a wonderful support system this past week.  It's been an awful experience and we are so lucky that she survived and had all of you in our corner.  They didn't think she would make it, something they couldn't confess until today.  We are feeling VERY grateful on this beautiful, Alabama Tuesday.  I'll continue to post photos as she gets back to being herself.  This is her right now:

I'm so glad to hear she is home with you! She does look a little tired, I imagine it will take some time before she is feeling like her old self again.
