Huge loaf of Italian bread---gone! oops It was found behind the couch!

Quincy is officially a late blooming counter surfer.  He ate a huge, fat loaf of very stale Italian bread down to the crumbs.  I am at work- DH is calling vet.  Any words of wisdom.  Please tell me he will be okay. 

Update--- DH found the entire loaf, with just a bite mark- behind the couch!  yikes----thankful, yet!  you sneaky counter surfer dood!  We have to make sure everything is off the counters these days.  funny thing is, this morning I purposely pushed and hid "treat" basket full of goodies further back.  Never thought he would be interested in stale bread that

 I intended to grind for bread crumbs.  never know!

Many years ago, I was certain that my dog, Simon, ate my daughter's iPod. After lots of hydrogen peroxide, everything in his belly came back up -- except, of course, for the iPod, which we found later between the couch cushions. Needless to say, I felt terrible. I guess the moral of the story is this:  If something goes missing, search the couch before concluding that the dog ate it!  I'm glad that Quincy didn't eat your loaf of bread.

Is it bad that when I read this I was jealous??? I am not eating wheat, or bread at the moment and I would eat a whole loaf too right now :)  He will be fine

Ha thanks! I will keep it in mind. Bread is a weakness of mine.....so I understand Quincys need to eat it, he couldn't help himself.!

Jennifer, I haven't had wheat or bread or corn or rice, or any grains in a long time, I felt the same thing as you, jealousy! I have tried making bread with almond flour but it is just not the same.

It isn't the same, I tired it too, no corn, sugar, white rice, grains, pastas artificial sweeteners, soda, or preservatives. I still crave bread, diet soda and I hope the cravings go away eventually and I stop becoming jealous of counter surfing dogs!
