Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hey everyone,

We have a 9 week old mini goldendoodle named Remmy. We were wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks, or product suggestions to help in the removal of the eye "boogers" as we call them. Currently we just try to wet around the eyes with a moist papertowel and try to pick them out with our fingernails while he chews a bullystick or other toy. It's really tough! Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks in advance! Mike, Mandy, & Remmy!

Glad to be of help! And totally agree. I LOVE this site! I can't tell you the amount of times it's helped with all different issues when I've been at my wits end! I live in this group. The food group, training and of course the puppy group :). Better to say I'm just all over the place on here! Haha

Thank you for the input! We will definitely be giving pumpkin a try!

Ned didn't have many eye 'boogers' when he was young but as he has aged, he does. His are crusty so I just pick them off. No big deal.  He doesn't have any staining. Clancy has NEVER had any eye goop in the entire time I have had him - I mean never. I guess it is just the different genes they have.
