Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This morning our fifteen-week-old Goldendoodle Marlowe tested positive for the Parvovirus. She had already been vaccinated and given her first booster shot and she never leaves our yard, but she still managed to get sick. Our vet said we were his fifth case this week. She's currently at the vet on an IV and we are hoping she pulls through this. :( Please keep our baby in your thoughts!

Just saw this! So glad she is on the right road to recovery! She is so precious!
What GREAT news! Very happy for you and your precious baby girl. Way to go Marlowe!
Marlowe has been feeling GREAT!

Her siblings are missing being able to play with her too:
Unfortunately, we noticed a large mass about the size of a lime between her shoulder blades that appeared over the past twenty-four hours. We took her in and it turns out that she has an abscess. They drained what they could and gave me some antibiotics to disperse over the next week, so hopefully it goes away. If not, she has to have surgery to have it removed. My poor little bubble baby just can't catch a break! Thankfully, she isn't letting any of this keep her down!
She is so adorable, and love the photo also of her siblings! Get well soon, Marlowe!
Hooray for feeling better, Marlowe! She is ridiculously cute! I hope the antibiotics take care of the latest issue and this whole ordeal will be behind her.
I am so glad that Marlowe is doing well in so many ways! I'm sorry about the cyst though.
My Kona had an infected cyst this past fall. In addition to the antibiotics, I gave him Pepcid and Proviable DC (a probiotic). I had to give them at different times and they had to be given away from the antibiotics. I needed to make a chart to keep track of it, but I didn't want his digestive system to be too messed up from the 10 days of antibiotics.
She's on a probiotic (and I'm going to give her a little yogurt for good measure) but I'll definitely look into the Pepcid! We don't want her stomach to get upset since she's just now recovering from Parvo-rhea and we don't want her to dehydrate all over again. I'm willing to try anything!
She looks like she feels so much better. I hope the antibiotics do the trick.
