HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

I prefer notifications by email.  I am not a fan of FB and rarely look at it unless an email brings something on FB to my attention and even then I am selective. But i always enjoy doodle kisses emails and watch for them.

I have enjoyed the slideshows. I missed some though because by the time I got the update it was past time to post photos and I check my email everyday. Maybe a two day advance notice on emails is needed? Is there a time limit to when you can post a photo to each slideshow? Or an amount limit to how many photos can be in a slideshow? I prefer email notification, FB I don't get on enough.

Sherri, email reminders usually go out on Sunday. The past two themes have anyway. And I change the slideshow on Wed night/Thur morning.

Adina, I added a photo to badhair but it didn't show up in the slide show. Is there a limit to how many photos can be in a slide show, I noticed it has stopped at 100? Or did I do something wrong?

Sherri,  I don't know if you did anything wrong but 100 is the limit on the slideshow photos.

Thanks Adina, there was already 100 when I submitted my photo, so that explains why it wasn't on the slide show. I kind of figured there must be a limit. I'll be quicker next time. ;-)

I too definitely prefer email.  I do post on FB occasionally, but am not crazy about it. It does give me the option of keeping up with photos of kids, grandkids, etc,  which is priceless!  I agree with the other that every two weeks is more manageable.

I like the email reminders as I'm always on my email (for work stuff) but NOT always on facebook.  I enjoy the slide shows and like to participate when I can, but I am not always able to.  Thanks!!!
