On my way to a funeral way out in the wine and fruit country, I saw this huge storage tank looking very happy (and whimsy).  In this area, the willow trees look like they want to start leafing out.  They were right yellow and made me hopeful spring comes early this year!

That is for sure.  On my way back I stopped in for a coffee and visited the Rustic Rooster a favorite antique store I visit on occasion.  The Rooster out front reminded me of Laurie's rooster!  He did not fit in my car thank goodness!

This is so cute. I go through a small town called Ashley, IN on the way home and they have a water tower painted yellow with a smiley face and I just love it. I always think I will stop to take a picture someday.

I love it when I find something unexpectedly amusing--like this tank with a smile--on a drive.  And the rooster is fast become the official mascot of the PG.  I know that I have an illegitimate son of Laurie's rooster :)))
