Interesting, but you have to trace your pattern on the fabric or do counted cross stitch.  I just want some fabric that can be used for cross-stitch or needlepoint and is printable with photos.  I know it is asking a lot, but it may be out there.  We can get a roll of the cotton fabric and I have sheets of printable fabric, but so far haven't found the printable cross stitch or needlepoint fabric.  Thanks for your help.

Well, today was printing day and I took the photo of Laila in front of the GG Bridge and printed it on cotton paper, on canvas, and on Aida cloth backed with large printer paper.  That was a good idea since it printed through the holes.  Got the giclee stretched and played with the clear acrylic.  I'm on my way.

Oh I can't wait to hear (and see) the finished piece.

You probably have me confused with Linda Bell.  She had the grandkids singing in her post.  You won't be hearing anything from my printer.  But I am coming along on my little printing projects.  Let me see if I can post them.  Nope, can't because I am working on them in Printshop and Photoshop and they won't load here without changing the extension and I don't want to lose my work.  Pretty soon.

Having fun trying new things for my Art Share in March.  Printed on cotton, canvas, and needlepoint fabric and now starting to do the painting on the canvas with clear acrylic and doing the needlepoint. Some new threads and brushes.  I am learning a lot - like don't print on real small needlepoint cloth.  I have 16 gauge and my eyes can't handle that size.  Metallic thread looks great for the GG Bridge.

This is such a creative approach, Lynda!

We'll see.

Fun!!!!

I'm really enjoying your artwork/play.

Getting closer.  I have the canvas finished and painted with acrylics (clear) as recommended by Linda.  I printed some photos on cotton and then made them into pillows.    I am still working on the needlepoint (same photo) and that is taking me a while.  Here are a few of things that are done but not the best photographs.  We are looking forward to the Art Share in March.  I painted that photo of Dad with his daughter and granddaughter several times but could not get what I wanted so I made this pillow for Dad's 100th birthday.  I call it "The Kiss".  I know he will love it.

The last photo is of the sushi plate I am making in my ceramics class.

These are all lovely! Happy birthday to your Dad.

Nice! How did you like the finished look of the clear acrylic on canvas? We you able to work any brush strokes into it?

That pillow with the photo of your dad is so sweet! 100th birthday? WOW!

And I love your sushi plate!

Man, oh, man, you are one talented lady!
