I just checked and there is an Aussiedoodle group.
Congratulations, Tara, and welcome to DK. In my opinion, picking by personality is so much more important than choosing by appearance. Do you know if the breeder will let everyone make their decisions closer to six weeks, when the temperament of the puppies will be more evident? If the puppies are going home on May 1, they must be mere babies now, and way too young for you make any kind of educated guess as to whether or not they will be a good fit with your family. I don't know how you could possibly choose in less than a week's time from now, unless it's by color and coat, alone.
Phew -- I must have misunderstood. In your original post on the eighth of March, you wrote that you were picking your puppy next Sunday, which would be four days from now. Yikes - that would be way too early to be able to assess the puppies' temperaments. I'm glad to hear that you are not going to pick your little fluff muffin so soon.
Hi Tara ~ It is so exciting to get a new puppy. You have found a great website to help you with all things "doodle"! When you get a chance be sure to check out the groups section on the main page and join as any as you like. Many new puppy owners join the Puppy Madness Group, Grooming Group and Food Group. I have not checked, but there may also be a group of Aussie doodle owners. If not, you can start the group yourself. I am looking forward to see the homecoming of your little doodle. Welcome to Doodle Kisses.
Welcome to DK where you will make friends and learn lots. ( I just notice that photo was taken at 4.36 AM!!! )
Do you mean Australian Shepard/Labrador mix?
Either way, they look super cute!
