I am out of the doodle games!

Thank you everyone for all of your input and support. We have decided to abandon the Doodle Quest. We will be getting a Standard Schnauzer in a few weeks. Bottom line was that I just wanted a healthy pup to love. Standard Schnauzers are a healthy and hearty breed and they are very smart.

I just could not reconcile paying $2000 + for a puppy with either no verifiable health history or one whose parents both had OFA prelims of fair and /or were bred too young. Maybe some day I'll be brave enough to take that kind of chance but not so soon after losing Max to cancer. 

So, I guess I can't hang around here anymore :( 

I will post of pic of our pup when we get him though!

Yes, stay! We shall have a variety of dogs in this family. :)

Also makes me feel better because when I get an Irish Wolfhound after Orwell, I don't really want to leave assuming this forum will still be around in 12-15 years. Also, Orwell will be getting a sibling at some point that won't be a doodle (will be fiancee's dog) and I want to talk about him/her as well. :D
