What does your doodle's tail do?

I thought my goldendoodle's tail would be more like a flag - kind of like a golden retriever or a lab. But she holds it high over her back in a curl - almost like a papillon. Is that what poodle's tails do? Or is she learning it from her papillon sister? (just kidding) When I stretch her tail out it has a very distinct curve to it and it boings back up over her back as soon as I let go! Obviously this isn't a problem, just a curious observation. 

I just love this girl! And as the puppy chewies just barely start to fade and I can walk around the house without dragging her along hanging off my pant leg, I find that I love her more and more every day!

This is so much fun to see the different tails.  Not sure what type Finn has.  He can wave it over his back like a flag or drop it like a lab but it has a distinct curve.  A lot like Sophie's.  Broad at the base but fragile towards the tip. It's like doggie sign language :)

This is a pretty 'in between' look. The best of both worlds.

Enzo usually carries hers pretty straight. Very Golden Retriever like.

I did not know there were so many varieties of tails! Pierre has a 360 degree, dust buster, type of saber tail. I only wished it collected the dust, too, as it wags. I see handsome Enzo enjoys playing ball.

Our GIRL Enzo ( with the boy's name) is extremely ball motivated!  Could care less about food, but say the word b-a-l-l, and she goes into a dance!

My pup's tail goes up and straight over her back. It does not curl. The only time her tail is down is when she is really scared. It looks so sad.

I would characterize it as a beautiful tail, lol!  Seriously though I'm thinking Sabre tail.  Golden Retriever type tail.
