What is the first book you chose to read this year (2015)?

My choice was The Rosy Project by Graeme Simsion.  Which is touted as Bill Gates' favorite novel and which he described as "profound".  It introduces the world to Don Tillman, a socially inept professor of genetics so wedded to his schedule that it has so far precluded becoming wedded to an actual woman!  That any prospective partner must complete a mandatory 16-page compatibility questionnaire narrows his options somewhat; until he meets Rose who scores precisely zero but confirms the theory that opposites attract.  I am 3/4 of the way through and I am finding this a quick, terrific and very entertaining read.   Any one else read it?

I'm impressed that you can just read Dragonfly in Amber for one hour a day.  I can't put down Diana Gabaldon books and get up in the middle of the night to read just a little more.  I have read them all twice, except MOBY.  I will get around to that again, I'm sure, sometime in the future.

Linda, I just finished The Rosy Project and thx for the recommendation! I really enjoyed it, so cute - especially Don's humor, self awareness, and growth. Touched base with me too, since we've some special needs In this family! Has anyone read the sequel?

I have it downloaded but have not read it yet.  I am just starting the Perfume Collector.  If you read the Rosie sequel let us know what you think of it.  BTW - your Rippley is so darn cute.
