I'm so happy that Milo the Doodle is sleeping through the night  (he's 15 weeks), but would love it if he could sleep a bit past 5:30 am! Once he's up, he's up. Going back in the crate doesn't seem to work once he's up. Any ideas?

Aaawww he's so cute!  I have the EXACT same question you do :)  Every now and then we'll get lucky and Cooper (15wk also) will get up at 5:55 a.m.  I think this has happened three times already.

We put him back in the crate after potty but he will WHINE until I go downstairs again.  Usually after 15 mins, I can't bear to hear him whine any longer so I give up and go feed him by 5:50 a.m.  Maybe I should take the advice on wearing earplugs.  lol

Good luck to you!

Milo is adorable! Katie has slept in my bed since the night I brought her home at 8 weeks. She's crate trained, but at night she's with me. I have the challenge of working long *weird* hours 3 days a week - I'm home the other 4 days. She sleeps well when I've been home to play with her all day, but when I get home from work I need to sleep and she's ready to play. Solution? Doggy Daycare. Wear her out playing with other pups for 12 hours and she will sleep as long as I want her to. So my suggestion is to wear that puppy out! He'll sleep later!
