The Harvard Medical School has published a report entitled "Get Healthy, Get A Dog - the Health Benefits of Canine Companionship."

Doodle owners, of course, have known some of the results of this study all along. If you Google the title, you will at least be able to read some of the conclusions. A dog can make you become more physically active; reduce blood pressure, heart rate and stress and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. The dog also benefits greatly in this relationship. The study compares different studies and emphasizes the responsibilities that dog owners have to their pets. DoodleKisses has emphasized this late point many times. It looks like a great read for Doodle lovers.

Yup ! Sums it up!

Quincy and I hiked 6 miles today and now we're both dog tired.

Wow...better than me...2 miles, Agility class and lots of snuggles.☺️ Like you both tired.

On another note... there was a study done (I forget the name), but dog owners also laugh more than people who don't have a dog. People who own a cat laugh significantly less than those who own a dog and still laugh less than those who don't own any type of pet.

Also, dogs are still the best security system (especially big dogs even if they aren't aggressive... they still look imposing).

Just a cute ad I've seen.  Looks like a little Doodle!
