When my pup is tired he starts to get really restless and starts to bite everything! When I see him doing this I lay down and tell him to come. He lays with me and I start scratching him and like a minute later, boom! He is out. It's pretty funny! I feel like I have a toddler that I need to put asleep when he starts acting up. Has anyone else experienced this with their doodle?

Absolutely.
Yep!! My breeder even warned me that bringing a puppy into the house was like having a toddler!!

Yes for sure.  And guess what?  When they grow up, they're better behaved but it's like having a happy curious 5 year old forever :)))  I wish I had a nickel for every time I hear a big sigh and that look that says "what are we going to do now?"

That is hilarious!  Exactly what Myla does!!!

That's hilarious and so cute!

Yup!  You are very in-tune with your doodle.

My 6 year old still acts like a naughty toddler when we have company. He is perfectly behaved in the house but when company comes it all changes. He keeps backing up to them and trying sit on their knee and does anything he can to get attention. I try telling folks to ignore him but they don't listen and neither does he.

Your puppy is very cute. It's a good thing that you can calm him down like this when he is over-tired and it is a great bonding experience.

That's aDORable! You're the puppy whisperer. ;) they def pickup on our energies/state of mind...

Aw, that is sweet.  my "toddler" likes to strew all his rag tag toys all over the den, knock down all the throw pillows onto the floor and the knock over the couch cushions.  it always looks like a tornado has gone through!

Yes, we had to put ours into his kennel because he would get so wild and boom, he would fall asleep!
