Eek!
Lloyd is shedding already and he's only 8 1/2 weeks old. Well, it's not too too bad...fur is noticed on black clothing after holding him, not really on the floor, etc. The vet said it's a bit early for him to blow his puppy coat and could be because of the hot and humid weather. Do you all think this is indicative of his shedding level when he's all grown up?
Thanks!

Yeah I'm not sure, but it is the beginning of summer when dogs start to lose some hair to help cool them - maybe that's a factor here? If you got from a breeder perhaps they have some insight? This is also my first mixed breed puppy, so I can only speak to my current experience :-/
Aww...Rosie is super adorable! I'll keep positive thoughts for less shedding as she continues to grow into adulthood :) Yes, so far I don't notice any shedding unless I wear black or dark colors. He seems to also shed more when he gets nervous like going to the vet or on a car ride - all new to him. I used to have 2 pugs (one fawn, one black), and they shed like crazy and drove me insane. Since one was blonde and one was black it showed up on everything and their fur was straight and short and wove it's way into the carpet. I'll take soft, wispy tumbleweeds any day!
My friend has used Lipiderm on her dog for years. According to the reviews it should help with shedding and improving the coat. I'm going to give it a try!
My pup is 14 weeks now and still sheds! :/ he started at 8 weeks too, so we are in the same boat! I can't wear black either unless I want to look like a fur ball. hah but hopefully when their adult coat comes in the shedding with subside!
