Hello. Lily is 3 1/2 yrs now. She's acting weird and it's hard to describe. Intermittently she will extend her neck and head like she's trying to burp, a little while later she starts swallowing, also is licking the floor. She is panting a little heavier than normal, however she's drinking water and was able to eat (as a test) one piece of kibble, her stomach is not distended. So we've RO bloat. She had some of these symptoms this last year, and was diagnosed with bordatella a week before she was due for the vaccine.
Now that I write this I'm thinking she, has hair stuck in her throat she will eat dust/hair balls if she can find them. Does it sound like some kind of seizure?
Our vet opens at 8 am tomorrow, should I do anything until then? ( I'm dyslexic, sometimes my sentences are scrambled if so please pardon )

I don't know what it could be, but I think it's very unlikely that it's a hair ball stuck in her throat. I've never heard of a dog having that happen. It also doesn't sound anything like a seizure. I'd just keep an eye on her and make sure she has access to water until you can get to the vet.

I wonder if it could be a foxtail in her throat. I hope not.

:) I didn't mean like a cat hair ball, more like a dust bunny with a strand or two of human hair.
This is the reason seizure came to mind. I read about animals with neurological disorders butt the top of their head to a wall. Lily doesn't do that, however 90% of the time when she lies down, she keeps her nose touching a wall or furniture. She looks funny sleeping with her body straight out from the wall. One time I saw her with all of her muzzle under the bathroom cabinet.
I hope it is not a foxtail or seizure. Thanks for your input!
Lilly hasn't had another episode of the swallowing. After google searches i found lots of dog owners in different forums describe the same symptoms, and it's indigestion. Lilly goes crazy when I make quinoa, she loves it. Seems She has developed an intolerance to quinoa. I gave her a few tablespoons a few weeks ago and she did the same thing.
