Does anyone have a doodle who is obsessed with eating bugs?  Our new puppy seems really unusually interested in sucking them up like a Hoover :).

Been there. Done that. Bought the shirt! It's bugs and any leaf that blows across the driveway. Although those he spits out. He does have a fasination with potato bugs. He ever so gently prods them until they curl up. The he lays down next to them until they uncurl. Except sometimes they don't. Poor bugs!

Okay, so glad to find one person who can understand this!  I'd love to know if it ever ends.  She's already had one episode of vomiting after a feast.  We live in the country and bugs are everywhere.  Yesterday she ate a live grasshopper but her favorites are dead ones.  We have had other dogs who ate occasional bugs but this is way beyond that typical response.  The vet says the shells in enough concentrations will give the young ones an upset stomach.  Ugh!

Yes, she loves bugs. I am so afraid she will eat one of the many frogs that are around. She may have and I just don't know it. Anything crawling, jumping, hopping or flying she tries to catch. She also loves to chomp on those maple tree seeds.
