Traveling with Lizzy, 11 month old Goldendoodle

My husband and I plan to take Lizzy on a 2-week vacation up the east coast next summer. She wil be almost 2 by then. Is there a good Website that provides pet friendly info as far as lodging and places you can take your dog? Also, any suggestions that would make our trip with her as pleasant and problem free as possible would be appreciated.

BringFido.com has been really helpful for me and Sadie as we drive from Florida to Minnesota and back for the last couple of summers. We've found some excellent local dog parks and even a rest area that had a dog run.

We also use Travelocity for traveling, and put in the "pet friendly" filter.
