Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hello,
We have been feeding our dogs Orijen from day 1. I am excited that they are now on the same formula, having just transitioned Dagny from Puppy to Adult.
There's only one store within (at least) 50 miles of me that sells Orijen and I'm just wondering if I'm paying a fair price for it. Here, the largest bag of Adult formula is just under $80. Is that about what everyone is paying? Have you seen significantly better pricing online from a reputable website you would recommend?
Thank you for your input!

It's a fair price for a retail store, but check out chewy.com. A lot of members here use them as well as other on-line sites, and the prices are usually better. I'd do some comparison shopping on-line.
Petflow is another reputable on-line company, and perhaps some members here can suggest others.
Thanks Karen! I'm always leery about buying food online because I'm worried I'm not getting the same thing (may be a silly fear). I'll check those sites out and look forward to others sharing. Thanks!
Thanks Jolene! Looks like I am getting a fair price after all :)
Also, Champion has a frequent buyer program; you save your receipts and your UPCs from the bag, and when you've purchased 12, the 13th bag is free. I know that most Orijen retailers participate in this, not sure about the on-line companies.
It actually looks like your retail store has a really good price. Here's the pricing from chewy; you can see it's not really less.

Petflow is also the same price. https://www.petflow.com/product/orijen/orijen-adult-recipe-dry-dog-...
You guys are awesome!! Thank you! I do participate in the frequent buyer program at my store. It's my favorite pet store EVER, but some things are kind of pricy there. Orijen seems to go up in price every time I buy it! Puppy was $74 a year ago and now it's $80. Anyway, this is all great info and I really appreciate it. I'm feeling much better now :)
Since the price doesn't look much different between your local store and the on-line sites, I'd opt for the local store. Nice to support local businesses, especially those that carry quality products.
Is this the store you use? It was the only one listed near you on Champion's website: https://leashesandleads.com/
