So cooper got fix on Friday. First when we got home I was assuming he will be tired oh no I was so wrong he was more crazy then usual. Now since Friday night I been keeping him in kennel..minus few breaks of course feeding potty. I feel sooooo bad. But every time I let him out he is starting to run after cat, jump...does pretty much everything he not suppose to do.

What did u all do?

Sounds like Enzo! She barely missed a beat! In spite of my leaching her to me, we were back at the Vet 2 different times to re dye her incision! Glued it once and stapled a second time. In spite of it all, she healed nicely, but not before driving me crazy. I ended up leashing her to me AND the Vet gave us a sedative for her. Worked like a charm!
Vet won't give me anything. So fat his incisions looks really good but I do have the cone on him at all time . took off few times but every time he tried to lick it.
Our Cooper was back to his normal self the very next day. He didn't do anything different. We just made sure he didn't run too much. He loves being chased so we just stopped chasing him. Lol His incision healed very quickly. I think a little more freedom for your Cooper should be fine! :)
Our cooper is a wild thing he likes to chase the cat jump etc. I been taking him out the kennel but as soon he gets wild he goes back in . I feel really bad but I rather do that then go back and add days to heqling . I gave him bone that's when I take the cone off but for the rest of the day cone stays on. It just makes me so sad for him to be coop up in kennel where I know he loves to be active

I did lots of chew toys like elk antlers.  kongs frozen with yogurt and kibble.  anything that would peak his interest and keep him still for long periods of time.

I do that . I take his cone when he is chewing bone. I had him out for over 2 hours block stairs and tried watch everythjng he is doing. Since I am going to work early in am he will get some more healing time to be out after we come home

Oh I feel for you. Getting our puppy fixed was a tough time for us because he was definitely right back to his energy level the very next day. We kept a cone on him, which made it hard for him to run. I think using the kennel is a good idea for right now. You could also keep Cooper on the leash for a few days to keep him from running/jumping. We played fetch in our living room to keep Angus busy and played some games that were mentally stimulating. We also worked on training, which is always tiring for our pup. One fun game that will keep Cooper busy is playing a smell hide-n-seek game where you hide smelly treats around the room for Cooper to sniff out with his nose. This requires a lot of mental energy and can help. I think we also used a lot of chews and ice cubes to keep Angus busy.
