Calendar Potentials

That time of year has come. Adina has announced info about calendar submissions which will start on Sept 1. You can post potential submissions here, ask for critiques or ask not to get any, ask for editing suggestions etc. I hope by now everyone is capable of doing simple editing by themselves. I am. Not certain anyone wants to do complex editing for others but there may be takers. The guidelines for submissions are here. Remember the actual submissions go to Adina by email.

If you do submit photos that don't follow the guideline parameters your photo will be tossed by Adina. But even great photos which follow all the rules may not make the calendar since the competition is stiff. Good luck to all.

I say go with your favorites. I try to submit MY favorites, because it is just too hard when you get a lot of people involved in the decision. The first year Vern got chosen, I submitted a side shot of one that my daughter took. I was positive it would not be chosen because it was a side shot and it got picked. Meanwhile, two that I thought were great shots never got picked. Go with what you like. It's a crap shoot anyways. LOL

My favorites are #4, 5, 7 and 8.  Love, love, love  #4 but it might need to be extended at the top and #5 could be cropped a little.  Personally though, I'd love to have #6 in my calendar --that one just makes me laugh, Ragley.  No hot air balloons this year ??  :)

My favorite is #8, and I like the lines of #5, the snowy shot of #7, and then #1. Great job!!

I too like 4 and 8, but think you should through 6 in for the fun of it.  Very cute and make me laugh!

Go with your gut. The first year I submitted the unanimous favorite was not selected but rather a last minute entry.

Last year I submitted the one of Fudge running with the apple and I thought it was a winner. Turns out Adina doesn't like bokeh :) I was positive it was a winner. You just never know.
