probiotics, Goats Milk and omega/glucomsamine supplements

We saw a nutritionist today and he recommended that Mikey stay on either Goat's milk or a Probiotic daily? I got a small carton of the Goat's milk but after that is gone I don't know whether to move over to a probiotic. Is this usual for a dog to take them daily? Also, what is a good omega/glucosamine supplement. I heard they can always use extra omegas.

You can skip the Pork Singles formula and just use the other two. I really would stick with single protein formulas for awhile after all this, lol. 

For chicken treats, I like Pure Bites. 100% dehydrated white meat chicken. They are pricey but worth it.

For beef treats, I need to do a little research; we have time, lol. I know Real Meat makes a beef treat.

ok I will look into the chicken treats. How often do you give them and for how long before I say he is probably ok with chicken

Remember, you need to wait 8-12 weeks before doing this. Eight to twelve weeks of no chicken whatsoever.

I did notice that the Pure bites has turkey also so I can try that too later. I had also saw that orijen makes for beef, bison and boar

Orijen's treats are multi-protein and too high in fat. The number one rule for dogs with any kind of digestive issues is Make Only One Change At a Time. 

And boar is pork, lol, so if you think he has an issue with pork, that's one more reason not to use them.

I just saw them online it didn't show all the ingredients. Beef will be my last experiment because I honestly think it was the beef

He hasn't had chicken in over 4 months. I just wasn't sure how many treat and how long when I actually do try chicken again

The thing is, there's no real reason that he has to eat chicken, ever. Yes, it would be nice to know if he really does have a sensitivity to chicken or not, but there's no reason you have to know that right now. I really, really, really think that after all the frustration of the past few weeks, it's important to just keep things where they are right now with his diet. I would not add or change anything at all right now.

I'm not changing anything soon. I just would like to know eventually. Not now. He loves acana and I can't get him to touch anything else. He isn't as excited about the lamb version. It is just crazy how his coat has changed. It looks so dull
