I "attended" the webinar. Doggy Dan is funny and positive. I like his approach, e.g. don't get bogged down or frustrated, solve the bigger issue of energy or dominance. Check it out. Even if you don't currently have a problem to solve, it's worth a watch.

Loved it!

Thank you so much for setting this up :)  I have already signed up with Doggy Dan, even though my only dog right now is 14 years old I know there is something in there for us as well as tips for when I finally get a doodle of my own :D

I have a real life story about Doggy Dan's example of being near your dog to get him/her to stop barking.  When I was training my dog I didn't tether him to me (something I will do with puppies in the future) so I had to go to him when he was barking to thank him for his efforts, let him know that I saw what he saw, etc.  I had hoped that by doing that I would eventually be able to 'thank' him from another room and he'd stop barking.  That didn't happen. So I will be watching Doggy Dan for examples.

But my Winston pulled his own lesson from my behavior that I didn't expect at all.  He decided that when I came to stand next to him he could stop barking.  So if we're outside and he starts barking, he stops when I walk up to him.  If I see something before he does I can go stand next to him, and he doesn't bother to bark.  He barks when someone comes to the door but when I get to the door to open it, he stops barking.

Not what I was planning to teach at all, but it is actually very cool. People are very impressed when my 80 pound dog who's barking like the Hound from Hell goes completely silent when I stand next to him.  LOL

Now THAT is a cool story!

Just signed up for Doggy Dan's site

I've read books about being a pack leader, but its so much more helpful with these videos.  The examples are great and its nice to know there is a forum to help clarify any questions

Its also easier to share with my family since they don't all like sitting down and reading a book :)

I really appreciated the Doggy Dan webinar. What fun! Zoey is almost 6 years old and is reasonably well behaved...reasonably...but, I still learned a lot from Doggy Dan.

Zoey has a very poodle like coat and would love the Les Poochs brush, or any of the wonderful prizes that are available.

Hurley is begging me to enter the contest.   He desperately needs new booties.  We may not live in a cold climate but the hot ground in summer here is just as much a detriment to Hurley's paws.

I enjoyed the webinar, Dan had some great tips that I can put to good use.

Doggy Dan was great last night even though it was pretty close to my bedtime on the East Coast. I've never heard of a Les Pooch brush, but I would loved to try it out on my Harley boy.

:)

Watched replay today and joined doggy dans site tonight! Thanks!!!
Thank you for the Webinar! I've been so busy but managed to watch most of it live while I was cleaning up after dinner and washing the dishes. Lol I've always liked Doggy Dan's approach and had signed up with him a few months back. I'm thinking I might need to sign up again now that Cooper is older and I could use his help. Thanks again! My husband and I enjoyed watching the rest of it together last night!

I put the webinar on the calendar for Sunday, and then when it moved to Wed evening, I forgot all about.  I just watched the rerun.  Last year after the webinar I signed up under the $1 for first month, and then I was learning so much from the site, I continued for another 3 months!  I love Dan's positive attitude and approach.  How wonderful it would be if we all knew how to be the pack leader before we actually got the puppy.  I have noticed recently that there are many new members that are getting their first puppy and if they could learn the right approach of training from the beginning, there would fewer behavioral issues.  I was also thrilled to see that Les Pooches are again available.  I lost one of my doubles and am going right now to Doodle Country Store to order one.

Thank you Adina and Clark for having Doggy Dan on the site again this year.  You did a very nice job on the webinar.

The webinar was a great refresher course for me. I was a subscriber to his program when Abby was a small puppy. I found his videos a great source of information and inspiration. Despite all the training Abby and I have been through, I loved listening to Doggy Dan and used some of his hints today. He is a great trainer!
