Moral Support

How nice of Charlotte to provide moral support to her big doodle brother as he rests after Tuesday's minor surgical procedure. The veterinary dermatologist from Tufts called this morning to say that the small mass on Wally's leg was benign. Whoo-hoo!

The photo is precious and I'm very glad the biopsy was negative! Hope Wally's feeling like himself again very soon!

Since the mass was so small, the doctor was able to remove it in its entirety. The site required only three stitches. The striped knee sock is to prevent Wally from getting anywhere near the incision. He wore a shorter (less snazzy) sock at first, but managed to get to the sutured area when the initial sock shifted a bit. After bringing him back to Tufts last night to have it checked and re-bandaged, I decided that a longer sock was in order.
