Do you need probiotic everyday,

My puppy took a probiotic, Proviable, when she took antibiotics. Her stools are normal should she take it everyday.

No, Jack takes a human probiotic, VSL#3. See my response to Ann above. 

But some people here do open the Proviable capsules and sprinkle it on the food.

I personally give all capsules whole, as pills, down the throat. JD has several different serious health issues and takes a lot of pills; I need to know that he is getting every bit of everything he needs, and exactly when.
