Hi all, I'm so distraught. Paz had a fatty tumor on his side, that had been aspirated and was just fatty tissue. This morning, the vet found 3 lumps on Paz, all on his left side; she aspirated them and sent them to the pathologist and I'm hoping to get the results tomorrow. She said they must rule out lymphoma, and it could possible be a sign of infection, so she also took a complete blood panel. She said they looked like inflammatory cells under the microscope, but she is not a pathologist, therefore would not venture a guess. I'm just an absolute mess; I can't stop shaking. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

You're taking such good care of Paz with these healthy and delicious meals....now if you can just get rid of the squirrels!
Loved your update. It makes me smile to picture you cooking Kosher for Paz and exchanging sleeping places!
Hi all, thank you again for your wonderful comments; I knew you would all totally appreciate the lengths we will take for our doodle babies! One of my colleagues gave Paz a teddy bear, which he immediately carried into his bed. It is rumored that Paz is complaining I am a "helicopter mom" who doesn't respect his space! Oh well, got to go because I'm preparing Paz's menu......very important to give him choices ie., kosher chicken soup, sweet potato, sirloin hamburger patties and so forth. I'm not sure if I can boil prime rib, but certainly am considering it as an option for him. Doggy dessert is a whole other area that might require creativity, but I'm certain I can figure it out!
May I suggest a little plain nonfat yogurt with some blueberries or dried cranberries added? Simple yet elegant, lol.
Can't wait to see the dessert menu! Hmmm...is that the whirling of blades that I hear....
Someone once told Tara that she was spoiled and I assured them that she was NOT spoiled, just well cared for. :) I believe that to be the case with Paz too! :)
Hi all, well it's now 3 kosher chickens later, a vat of chicken soup and Pazzie is taking full advantage of his mom's love and concern; he's devouring his gourmet meals, sleeping on my bed, his bed or wherever else he feels might suit his needs. When I leave my apartment, Pazzie is usually lying on my bed, watching TV.....Judge Judy and Dr. Phil are two of his favorite shows, although sometimes he likes one of the Real Housewives episodes. He has his second chemo appoinment on Thursday morning, so please keep him in your prayers. My colleagues are thinking positively, and are planning a Bark Mitzah for Pazzie when he returns to work in the Spring!
Good morning all.....Paz just completed his scumptious breakfast as evidenced by his pushing the bowl around when nothing was left. OMG, he keeps this up and I will have to get him a larger winter wardrobe. In any event, I can't believe that Trupanion has already sent me reimbursement checks for 90% of all the real costs.....what a wonderful company! Wow, one less thing to stress about during this difficult time. I will keep you updated after his chemo treatment tomorrow. Thank you for all your prayers and support which means so very much to us.
Thanks for the good news this morning....paws crossed for more good news after the treatment tomorrow.
Thanks Charley, for these morning updates. Happy to hear Paz hasn't lost his sense of humor. Give that boy a big hug from us and we'll be keeping both of you in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
That's great news about Trupanion. It must be a huge relief.
