What is your doodle's weirdest habit?

Has this question come up yet? While reading the bed discussion, it made me think of Riley's bad habit. She waits until we are ready to sleep and starts chomping on her nails. Thankfully she is in her bed but it is so gross to hear. Crunch..crunch..crunch... The silver lining is that we don't have to clip nails much. :-/

Oh that's funny! Never heard of a dog munching their nails. Is this a nervous habit for like people?

I have never heard of a nail biter! LOL  When Beau is exhausted and goes to sleep he snores!  He usually is in a bed near my side of the bed and I can gently touch him and he will quite - he sounds like an old man!!.

Myla snores also and when she's not snoring, she's clicking her teeth together!

Charlie clicks his teeth sometimes too!!

[Diane and Alma]

Alma chews on her nails in the middle of the night too!  She has several odd habits that make us laugh.  She rubs her snout on the floor or carpet right after she eats.  It's like she 's using a napkin.  Also, she takes the first mouthful of kibble from her bowl and walks about 5 feet away and drops it on the floor.  She returns to her dish and eats what's left.  After she is finished, she will go and clean up the mess she made at the beginning.  And one last one, when she is riding in the car with the window down, she rests her chin on the door with only her nose poking out.  I have to be careful when going over bumps so she doesn't wack her chin on the door frame.  She's quite a character!  I'm curious about what strange habits other doodles have.

I cannot even begin to figure out why Alma does that with her food!  So funny!

At first we didn't hear it...went to vet and asked if they could clip her nails. The tech went to do it and said they didn't need it looks like she chews them. Thought that was good news until I heard it.
Beau's snoring sounds cute. :-). Does he sigh too? Riley will do that. A dog's life is so rough.
Alma does sound like a character. Funny how she saves a portion for later.

Other ones come to mind...Out of the blue Riley will go to the pantry door and nudge it open with her nose. She won't go in. Just checking to see if it is open.

My guys have lots of "odd" habits.  For Guinness, I guess it's that he won't drink water unless I'm home, so the minute I walk through the door he runs to his water bowl.  Murph hates all high pitched sounds including music, so he howls when anyone sings. If you didn't know better, you'd think he was singing along.  We've finally got him to the point where I can play the piano with him in the house but we have to throw cookies to him the whole time.
