Hi all, I'm so distraught. Paz had a fatty tumor on his side, that had been aspirated and was just fatty tissue. This morning, the vet found 3 lumps on Paz, all on his left side; she aspirated them and sent them to the pathologist and I'm hoping to get the results tomorrow. She said they must rule out lymphoma, and it could possible be a sign of infection, so she also took a complete blood panel. She said they looked like inflammatory cells under the microscope, but she is not a pathologist, therefore would not venture a guess. I'm just an absolute mess; I can't stop shaking. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

I think this is the first time I've been happy to hear that a doodle is misbehaving! LOL Such a good report! I hope that his reaction to the chemo is minimal.
Paz continues to do well. Generally, the chemo reaction occurs two to three days after the treatment; his treatment was Thursday, however, he is showing no ill effect, but the oncologist said not to get upset if he gets nauseous or lethargic as it will pass. My friend, Michele, who is a healer, spent time with Paz last night and it is amazing to watch his response to the healing session. It's almost as if he senses the positive energy as he literally cuddles up next to her, relaxed and calm. Afterwards, he was so frisky I put his Pet Partner's vest on him, and we went inside the World Trade Center plaza where everyone knows him; it was really crowded and he was so happy to see all the people. The security guards and shop owners who all know Paz, all came out to greet him and Paz's tail went into non stop wagging; it truly made him feel better to engage in his normal activities (me too)! Thank you for all your support and prayers.....it means so very much to us.
Happiness is the best medicine. Your work with Michele is so interesting, in addition to your medical team. You and Paz are so lucky to have these resources. So glad that you guys got out and about. Thanks for the update.

I love hearing that Paz is feeling so well.
What a wonderful day-so much love for Paz. :) And it sounds like he gives it right back! Keep wagging and healing sweet boy!!!
Things continue to go well; Paz was scheduled for chemo today, however, the oncologist said that Paz's white blood count had dropped a bit, so he was going to skip chemo this week, put Paz on antibiotics to prevent infection and will start again next Wednesday. The oncologist said this is really normal, and that all the other tests continue to be excellent; Paz's lymph nodes are normal, his temperature is normal (no infection), and everything remains stable. He commented that Paz's tail had not stopped wagging since I dropped him off for his chemo treatment, and he was greeting everyone who passed his way......that's my boy. I told him that Paz was back to his old tricks, including barging into the bathroom and sticking his head into the shower to say hello, and dragging my pillow off the bed when I wasn't paying attention to him......Yaaay, I love his misbehaving! As a matter fact, he is barking right now because the doorman called to tell us we have a delivery.....yes, I love the sound of his big, goofy loud bark! Thank you all for your prayers and support. You have made all the difference as we move forward with this difficult journey. Huge hugs from me and Paz to all of you!
Way to go! Nothing like looking forward to misbehavior!
Love hearing about your antics, Paz! Hope that package was for you.
