Morgans hair is about 3 inches long. Ever since her last grooming it has been hard to keep her tangle free. I invested in the Activet brush hoping it would help. Now matter what I do it is hard to get a brush thru or a comb thru her hair. It is just so thick. Any suggestions? Here is a photo of her.

Are you familiar with the term "line brushing"?  If not, you might want to do a search on line for some videos and watch them.  I think this would help you a great deal.  You could do it first with the Activet (which is a generic brand of the Les Poochs) brush and then do it again with the wide tooth and then narrower tooth comb.  The more frequently you do it the less time it will take.  DH brushes our girls every morning.  Takes him maybe 10 mins per dog.  If he only did it once a week it would be more like 30 mins per dog.  I know there are some videos on "Grooming Sully" who is a doodle and she talks about line brushing.

There are products that help detangle the coat.  Horse Mane 'N Tail spray is one  of those products. Spray on, let sit and brush/comb.  For specific mats rub Cowboy Magic into the mat, let sit. brush/comb out.  You might keep her a bit shorter for a while so that her coat is more manageable - she doesn't have to look short, your groomer can 'fake' it.
