Lynnee WINS!!! Samantha would be very very hungry waiting for me to feed her from a fork. Though, I must admit I do sometimes hand feed her. Not very often but I feel we are bonding when I feed her like that. Boy, do I hope that Samantha sees it the same - she IS smart! Humph, that smart??
Ginger should be an only dog. She doesn't like Jack or Cody to touch her toys and she won't let them in her bed and she won't give up a bone, once it's hers. It probably goes back to being in a puppy mill and not having anything. She also hates eating fast and if single would eat over a couple of hours. However, that's not possible with Jack, who eats everything in about 2 minutes. I was holding Ginger's back and putting it down everytime she'd come into kitchen. She's take a bite and walk away. I discovered that if I put applesauce or milk or something special on hers, she eats faster. So when there's a couple of bites left, I'd give it too her on a fork. Over a couple of weeks, it got to be more and more until now she sits and looks at me until I feed it to her. AND she has decided that she likes it that way. The other night it was like 8:00 and I tried to get her to eat without me but she just wouldn't take any of it unless it was on the fork. I wound up feeding the whole dish like she was a baby or something while I sitting on the floor. That's why I wrote the "Come Whine With Me" piece. Last night she ate by herself, so she was just testing me, I guess. She is SPOILED and that's OK with her, and me!
Oh I don't think Samantha is spoiled......I think she has a good mommy and daddy...LOL..I know she asked you to buy it and when you said no she had a temper fit in the store...then when you got home she insisted you hold the bone...LOL Good going Samantha you deserve it baby......
We sometimes hold the bullystick for Max. It's funny to see DH sitting in his chair watching TV and bending over holding the stick while Max just chews away. I should definitely get a pic. We've never had kids so our pets have always been our babies and yes we always have and always will spoil them rotten.
