My Doodle came home from a 3 week boarding and training with a
mature manner. We still need two more private lessons from the trainer, but this time we drive her there. I was so worried when she left, but she made it alright

Congratulations on your happy experience!  She's a beauty.

Thank you Chery! I was so so worried. We Had to take a big step for all of us - including Doodle. She became a really hard head, I didn't know what to do that was best for all of us.
Thank you so much for all the support! I posted some pics for 30 minutes of her down time.

I'm glad it all turned out okay.

Thank you Jane. It's so peaceful now.

Be sure to keep up your practice or all the trainer's hard work will be a distant memory.

Thank you Nancy! Yes, I am doing short sessions, 10 to 15 minutes twice a day and 30 minutes down each day. But he told us feed her 1 per day allow 10 minutes then remove food program, isn't Doodle gonna be hungry?!

I don't want to go against your trainer or alarm you, but I lost a dog to bloat last summer so I have done some research. Putting the food down for a period of time is standard for encouraging a dog to eat at mealtimes.  Feeding once per day is one of the things that can contribute to bloat. They are so hungry that they inhale their food. I would also use a good quality slow feeding bowl like the slo bowl by Outward Hound.

Oh my! I might just give her more than once a day, because she is a food lover and it is so hard on her and you can tell that she wants to eat more. It's so hard for me as well, looking at her!

Thank you, Soon.  That my dog died because of bloat, just crushes my heart.  That someone takes a second look at their feeding situation eases my pain.

Oh Nancy! I am so sorry for your loss. I kind of woke up after you mentioned it and I researched it right away last night. I was scared from what I read. I am so glad I joined DK, and thank you all.
Glad it worked out and thank you so much for updating. My pet peeve is when people post in distress over a situation, a great deal of time goes into thoughtful replies, and then we never hear a thing back.
Thank you so much!
