Hi all, I'm so distraught.  Paz had a fatty tumor on his side, that had been aspirated and was just fatty tissue.  This morning, the vet found 3 lumps on Paz, all on his left side; she aspirated them and sent them to the pathologist and I'm hoping to get the results tomorrow.  She said they must rule out lymphoma, and it could possible be a sign of infection, so she also took a complete blood panel.  She said they looked like inflammatory cells under the microscope, but she is not a pathologist, therefore would not venture a guess.  I'm just an absolute mess; I can't stop shaking.  Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

Okay, I'm just preparing you for the debut of my labragoat on his bed , by posting some pictures taken this morning of the aforementioned labragoat "sharing" a rather large branch with his BFF Baxter, who is a  labrador retriever that doesn't notice his best friend aka Paz,  has lost all his "hair."  Interestingly enough,in February, Baxter was rushed to the hospital for emergency removal of a tumor on his spleen which had ruptured; Paz was briefly in the ICU of the same hospital, and the vets had no prior knowledge that the dogs were best friends when they placed them in adjacent "beds" in the ICU,  where they could be carefully monitored. Paz and Baxter absolutely love each other, so I'm posting these pictures to show how far they both have come.  Pazzie is the cute labragoat on the left, and Baxter is the adorable labrador on the right.  It's hard to see that Paz is sprouting some curls on his head and legs, and he is the love of my life!

Paz is a very good looking boy with or without his curls.  He and his BFF make a handsome pair! So glad to see him "fighting" for his stick :)

Looking good Pazzie! Less time in the shower with that hairdo. You may be onto something. It is nice to see you sharing with Baxter.

So fun to see Pazzie with his friend. It was great to hear those two were placed side by side at the vet's. I'm sure it was a comfort to both. Love hearing every story you post about your wonderful, heart-dog, Paz.

The happiest photo ever. Having had four labs before my doodle kids, I love Paz's friend and of course Paz the magnificent. Rosie and Scrabble are jealous that Paz does not have to be groomed. Not their favorite thing. Looking forward to seeing more happy photos of the love of your life!

Great pictures! It is nice to see the boys sharing the stick.

Love this picture! It's interesting to see a doodle tail without any hair on it, now I know what's hiding under all that fluff!  Your Labragoat looks very dapper in his sleeveless shirt. What does it say on the back? Such an interesting story how they ended up together in ICU. It probably gave both comfort to know the other was there.

Pazzie's shirt reads "Got Treats?"  Thank you for noticing how dapper he looks in his shirt, which as you can readily observe, truly reveals his long, "sleek" legs and sexy body!  Pazzie truly exudes "sex appeal", and he's of the opinion that since he has it, he will flaunt it!   I'm absolutely certain that all your doodlekisses' pooches must be really envious of Pazzie's new sexy look!  What can I say, my boy has become a real chic magnet!  Now only if Paz would coordinate his legs so he doesn't strut like a goofy klutz!   Paz will never be a runway dog model!

As I have mentioned, Paz and I live in Lower Manhattan there are lots of tourists; in the past couple of days, two people have stopped to admire my labragoat and asked if he is an Irish Water Spaniel?  His hair is beginning to grow back, with little curls sprouting from the top of his head, so to my way of thinking, he looks like a labragoat whose future hair growth has the potential of making him an Albert Einstein look alike.  In any event, I decided to google Irish Water Spaniel to see what one looks like and wanted to share these images with my doodlekisses family (Paz actually resembles the second image).  If I buy Pazzie a full body hair piece, he might resemble the first image:

Paz will be irresistibly handsome no matter how his hair grows out. He is so appealing on the inside the curls won't matter.

Thank you: it's just so funny to hear all the breeds which people think he might be!  Of course, no one realizes he is a labragoat, so that's a secret between me and all the thousands of doodlekissess members!

Irish Water Spaniels are certainly adorable.  If your labragoat :-} resembles them at this stage, that can only be a good thing.
