Happy 10th Birthday, Wally Bunchkin!

Boy, how time flies. It is hard to believe, but today is Wally's 10th birthday. This first picture was taken at Tegan Park on the day we first met. I'm not sure why, but very early on, I started calling him "Little Bunchkin," and that's been his nickname ever since. Actually, at some point along the years, he became just plain "Wally Bunchkin!" In the second image from about a year ago, he is volunteering as a reading buddy at one of our local libraries. We have both changed a lot since that day when I flew to Florida to pick him up in 2006. He has brought such enormous joy to our lives and I am so very happy to be celebrating such a special birthday with him.
