We haven't had that much participation of late but surely the prospect of doodles will change that. And maybe my third try at adding this discussion will be a charm.

Thanks Linda.  The vet told me he's in good shape for a middle aged dog!!!  MIDDLE AGE??? I know he is but it's sort of shocking when someone says it out loud.  We are meeting more therapy teams and it's wonderful.

I know - Charlie will be 5 in December and Beau will be 4 in August.  Both have slowed down - but I really notice it in Charlie.  He loves balls, but apparently has torn a ligament in right rear leg.  After 3 or 4 throws, he lies in the shade.  He is not favoring it other than putting more weight on front legs, with in turns makes his front knees sore.  We are weighing options at this point.  Vet suggested we wait to see how he does protecting it himself. I worry an ACL surgery may be in his future.

Oh, poor Charlie. I hope he doesn't need surgery but others here have done well.  Feel better soon Charlie Brown.
