Ordering medicine online!

Is it safe to order medicine / supplements online from Amazon? I need to get yeti on proviable DC asap but I'm not quite sure where to order it from!

Proviable isn't medicine, or really even a supplement. It's just beneficial bacteria. I've never ordered it, but I know a lot of people here have, and I've never heard of a problem. Chewy.com is a great site, and they carry Proviable. Lots of people here use Chewy for all of their dog's needs, including food, and the prices and customer service cannot be beat.

I use both Chewy and Amazon (Amazon for the items I can't find on Chewy) and have been really pleased with both! I think I ordered the Proviable from Amazon with no issues (can't actually remember which site it was, but know there were no problems!) :) Good luck!

I've ordered Proviable through Chewy, Entirely Pets, Amazon and Drs. Foster and Smith and Petflow. Last time I ordered through Entirely Pets I got a free box. Watch for the specials, lots of times they offer special deals around holidays through email ads. One of these places (can't remember who) has a daily special on select items. They offer Proviable on the daily specials at times. I'll get several emails within a couple days from a company that offer discounts with discount codes. Sometimes you can use several discount codes on one order and get free shipping if you spend a certain amount. I've not had any problems with any of the shipments. I also order my dog food through Chewy. I did use Petflow but Chewy, right now, has better prices on the kibble my dogs eat. Chewy and Petflow have excellent customer service.

Entirely pets has "Daily Deals". That's where I got a great discounted price on Proviable. They also have "Coupon Specials" and "Red Tag Sales". I believe these are on their home page on the full site. I can't see them unless I switch to their full site if I'm on my iPhone or iPad.

I use Entirely Pets to order Jack's Douxo shampoo and toys sometimes. Very happy with them.

Both times I've ordered it from Amazon it was from Amazon.com as the seller (vs Entirelypets or Petsporium, etc)

Proviable can't be stored above a certain temperature. So, if you have your mail delivered to a community mailbox and live somewhere hot, you might want to have it delivered to you at work so that it isn't sitting baking in the mailbox all day.

So i realized that i worded the title kind of badly. I had a lot of success ordering Porviable from chewy.com. Thank you all so much for the replies :).

How do you all feel about ordering actual medicine online. I talked to my vet about getting Yeti on Panacur. She seemed to think it was a good choice, however she wants to wait to see what his stool sample from the lab says. Im worried that she is going to want to re prescribe the metronidazole. If that is the case would it be stupid to order Panacur online and give him that myself? I just want to cover all my bases. I want Yeti to be better for good, but I also want him to be safe and it sounds like metronidazole isnt.
