I had never heard of this brand. The website states that all of their ingredients are sourced in the U.S., so based on that, they should be fine, although I'm not crazy about the fact that they add salt and/or sugar to most of their products. I think they may have very limited distribution.
Lots of info here about Zukes if you do a search. They used to be highly recommended until about 2 years ago, when they were sold to a private equity company. So the short answer is "no.", lol.
Thanks!
The Wholesome Pride treats look fine, their website says they grow the sweet potatoes themselves, so sourcing is excellent, lol.
I'd try bumping up his feeding amounts a tiny bit, maybe add a quarter cup of food to each meal.
Is Blue Dog Bakery good? We use them for Bella because they are Natural, low fat, and made in the U.S.A.
They look pretty good. Ingredients are U.S. sourced, too, which is important. My problem is that they are sold at Target and Walmart, which is almost always a red flag. I'd have to research them further before I could recommend them.
I have always bought them for Fudge and Vern, but mainly because I confused them with Cloudstar :) I will be interested to see what you come up with!
