Soft poop again...

So long story short Jake had soft poop before and we began giving him proviable DC twice a day and canned pumpkin and it went away. (Still sample was negative) Stopped the canned pumpkin a week or so again and everything was fine. Just started with runny stool again today. The only thing I can think of it that he loves to eat twigs out of the yard despite the fact that I follow him around outside.

Could that be causing this?

Are you still giving him the probiotic?  Have you taken another sample to the vet for testing? It is always good to test again. 

I would keep giving the probiotic and cook some sweet potatoes in the microwave and mash them up to use

instead of the pumpkin....they have more fiber than pumpkin.  Could he be getting into anything else in the yard?  If needed,

keep him on a leash so you can react quickly to stop him from eating things outside.  Hope his little tummy feels better.

I have found that on the rare occasions when my guys have  treats, they get loose stools.  I have also found that stress gives one of them loose stools.  Sometimes traveling does it also.
