Hello new here and have questions about double doodle coats

Hello everyone, I am new to Doodle Kisses but not new to doodles. We had an amazing F1 Labradoodle for almost 13 years that was just the sweetest boy. We were devastated to lose him this spring. My kids are ready for a dog again and we are going to be getting a double doodle this time. Can anyone give me some help as to what the puppy's coat will look like as he/she gets older if I post photos? Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

If you look at my profile pic you can see how straight my pup was at 9 weeks. I have attached a photo of his coat at 5.5 months. He is getting curly underneath. He is dry here but wasn't brushed after swimming today!

Adorable! I just reread your post. I didn't realize he was wet. But... I would guess super wavy to curly. He looks curlier than my pup who is now getting pretty wavy/loose curls at 5 months.

This pup is just adorable and more likely to have the 'look' that I think you are looking for and be less likely to shed.
