Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

If you would like critiques and/or help with editing of potential calendar shots post them here. Members often volunteer to help. Please post the original photo unedited if you want help. The helper will probably ask you to email the original photo. Before you ask for help on your photos read the Guidelines for the calendar and keep them in mind when taking photos and when posting here. Remember to take the best quality, ie large file size and highest resolution your camera can take.

An easy way to see if your photo meets the minimum calendar requirements is to use Jeffrey's exif viewer.

http://regex.info/exif.cgi

You can pop your photo's URL in the proper place and you will get lots of metadata including # of pixels. there is a ton of information but the number of pixels is what you need. Calendar pictures must be 2300 pixels wide by 1800 pixels high.

Holy Doodle!

LOL, Quincy is being a brat!

Oh you are too funny!...If I didn't know better I would say that was Skadi in one of her favorite poses!! I can see I am in good company.

Donna ... I have no words LOL!

F, Do you have all this megadata stuff in your tutorials? I can never remember any of this. Thanks for your help!

The metadata app is above. I don't remember  tutorial for it. I genrally use the metadata in Picasa or PS. There's tons of data but I only know and use a few things.

Is this one the right size for the calendar?

Almost.  This is 2374/1766 and the minimum requirement is 2300/1800.  But when you crop it to 11 x 8.5, the image is 2286/1766--both the width and height are a bit under the minimum pixel requirement.

Thanks for playing, DJ, I appreciate it. :)
Thanks for trying, Laurie!!

I love that photo. Try it again. It is so cute!

This is great information!! Thank you! Is there anybody who can help me with this photo? Are there any edits that need to be made? Also, I'm new to this... but is this where you find the number of pixels? If so, then this should be enough for the calendar, right? Is there anything else I need to check from Jeff's Exif viewer to make sure my picture is eligible?
