Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

This is for photos you are thinking of submitting for the Calendar and that you would like to show us. If you want more detailed critiques and/or editing help I have started another discussion for that. I know there will be overlap and possibly a mish mash but we can handle that. Don't forget to check the guidelines.

I'm stating early because the calendar submissions need to be in by 9/22. seems like the submission period gets shorter every year.

Remember that vertical shots only go on the multiple doodles per page calendar. If you want a chance at a full page you need horizontal shots.

any of these 2 good?

Sorry i don't think these do justice to your cute pup. The first is not quite focused and we can't see the eyes and the second is way too cluttered in both the foreground and background.

I agree.  He sure is a cutie pie though!

His name is Bear and I'm madly in love with him, will try better I pretty much only have iPhone pics :( but I am a photoshop pro though

Luca on the run.

Great action shot.  Take a bit of shadow out and it is good to go!

I see what you mean. Thanks.

Better?

How come he has green on him, was he laying in the grass?

Probably a reflection from the grass but he is always laying on the grass. In PS it didn't really look green to me : (

on my puter it does, probably is a reflection, was just wondering

I have this problem many times with the casts of color on the fur.  Do you shoot in RAW and then convert?  I have been told shooting in RAW would avoid this...have you experienced a difference using RAW if you do?
