That is so sweet<3 I love it:)

Thanks Sam!  I wish my rescue is still alive.  She passed away at 16.  I'm getting married next year.

She was beautiful:) (I saw a picture of her somewhere..) She will be watching from doggy heaven:)

Thank you for the nice comment. I'd like to think that too:)  Here it is! The first photo is when I first rescued her at age 7 or 8.  No one wanted her due to her age and aggression.  I found her after three failed homes. The second photo is right before she passed. She was my life and my ray of sunshine for 8 wonderful years! I think she would have upstaged me for my wedding.  She was a looker :)

 You're Welcome! So Sweet:)

Dogs are like that, yes they are.

Wow, I couldn't hold back my tears...

How nice.
im glad people enjoyed this story
So sweet and special. We recently lost one of our rescue dachshunds. She was only 14 (just shy of 15) years old. She had an inoperable tumor in the bladder neck. It is always SO difficult to make that final decision. One of our best friends is also our vet. And with tears in his eyes, he made that awful decision easier -" it's time to let her go."
