Exercise Pen and Dog Crate ...

Any one use an Exercise Pen especially while your puppy is young and how do you use it with a
Dog Crate? TIA

I got both from Midwest for about 2 weeks.  I have a mini-ALD (about 5 pounds when I got her at 10.5 weeks).  The Expen was 2 feet high.  After about 2 weeks, I didn't use it anymore because Echo discovered she could jump on the Expen and get out.  Then she learned how to jump out. (She was about 7 pounds at this point.) Both my crate and the Expen were from Midwest, and they did fit together (if you had enough room).  When used with a Crate, the Midwest Expen cannot be in a rectangular shape.

I have a small crate for our puppy to stay in during the night and if I'm not at home.
I also got an exercise pen to keep him in, because I have 2 toddlers that are not used to puppy nipping and scratching.
The enclosure is more for the kids than the puppy. i plan to put him in it whenever kids are playing and I'm doing dishes, etc.
We get our little guy on Tuesday.
