It's a beautiful day and I thought maybe we could get some pictures for the christmas card - obviously not. I am the worlds worst photographer. And even if I was better my subjects are not very cooperative with the camera. But we had so much fun! And I think my girls are so sweet and beautiful. They love racing through the forest and rolling in the leaves and playing in the water.

And they love each other! Ava will follow Katie anywhere. She even lets strangers pet her at the park. She has come so far in such a short time. They just make me so happy!

But what am I ever going to do about those christmas cards???

They are so cute and look like they're having so much fun! :)

They were having a blast. Unfortunately for everyone Katie needs a haircut and I am dreading combing out all the foliage that is hiding in there. She's taking a nap and I'm procrastinating for a few minutes. She's really good about it, but it takes forever!

It's wonderful to see them out and having fun! You could always Photoshop their heads onto another body and make it a humorous card :D Sometimes head shots are so much easier.

That's a really good idea! I can usually get their heads. It's getting them both in the frame at the same time, and looking the same way, and the background, and in focus - so all that other stuff that I struggle with!

They look like very happy campers.

What a gorgeous day.  Your doodles look like they are having a blast.

I am also in the Holiday Card Exchange group.  Some years I take lots of pictures during one day and see what comes out best.  This year I looked through various sites and found a card I liked and then just dropped in a photo I had taken earlier in the year.

It's such a fun tradition to get and give doodle cards.  I wonder what my mailman thinks when s/he sees all the cards coming in for Alma Doodle : )
