Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

This might be better for the photo group, but I feel like it's a general question, so maybe this forum? I'm having a problem when I try to add photos to my page they are weirdly distorted. Sometimes they work. But most of them look all stretched out. I have tried adding them with the uploader, and I've tried emailing them to the unique email address... and I have the same problem. But when I add them in the forum they look normal. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I swear I'm not asking just so I can put cute pics of the pups in here again. teehee.

I have the same problem so I'll be interested in seeing the replies. I think mine are okay when you open the picture but distorted in the posting itself.

I have no idea about the photos, but those are definitely some cute doodles, lol!

Thank you for saying so Karen! I wish you could see them play now. I got Ava because I wanted another dog, not because I wanted Katie to have a playmate. In fact, the thing that made me pause was the idea that Katie wouldn't want to have competition for my attention. And then I loved Ava so much but she was so growly and Katie seemed so subdued that I was really worried that I had wrecked Katie's life. But if you could see them zooming through my (really too small for Ava to zoom) living room. And then there is the wrestling and play bowing and being silly. They even share their antlers nicely. I can't even explain how happy it makes me. And I finally got a dog who will lay across my lap while I'm watching TV. Ava isn't so needy that she has to be touching me all the time anymore, but she is still a very affectionate dog. I think it made Katie more affectionate too, and I love it. I love them!

Serendipity. :D

That's the word!

Sorry, I don't know the reason.

After thinking about it, I think it's because they are showing up in landscape mode, but the pictures are portrait style. So they're getting streched out the long way. I wonder if knowing that will let me figure out how to fix them...

I posted the same question several months ago, and no one knew the answer then, either. When I add photos into a discussion, they look fine. But, when I add them into my homepage, they are stretched out. Weird!

It is odd. What's even stranger is that I see other people with photos that look fine. Either someone knows something that we don't, or we're doing something that they aren't doing. I'm not sure which! Oh well. I did notice that if you click on "full size" the picture looks normal again. So weird.

This is what I had an issue with too, once i clicked my picture to make it full size it was correct. Otherwise it was stretched and distorted.
I had this issue with photos I cropped before posting. If they were cropped at a different size ratio than the original photo was taken in, it was stretching the photo once posted here in my photo section.

Something must have changed in the settings. Photos that I've uploaded into my slideshow 2 years ago are fine, but anything done in the past 6 months are stretched. I've uploaded them the same way. So, how do I go about changing those ones that are stretched?
