Mine has always been a world class shedder (lab/poodle) so I am no help on this questions, but holy smokes, look at that adorable face...who can mind a little fluff here and there?
Mine has some long wirey hair and underneath a really dense downy fur, she has always shed really heavy and the two mixed together make sizeable tumbleweeds. She does not look like your typical doodle, her sister is a 3/4 poodle1/4 lab mix, totally different coat. We run the Roomba every single day, dust constantly and choose our clothes to match the dogs...3M tape rollers would not be nearly as successful if we did not have Meg to help keep them in business.
Just be diligent about cleaning up after her before they have to see her hair. Could be the change in climate, but probably just shedding her puppy coat. Brush frequently and get up early in the morning and get her hair that has shedded. It is doable.
Oh, yes, she looks like my sheepadoodle puppy and that is why I clicked on your profile photo.
No way to know for sure if any doodle puppy will shed or not, and a BIG percentage of F1s do shed to some degree. The shedding often doesn't start until they go through the coat change and get their adult coats, and you pup is just the right age for that.
I lived in Boston and had a maltese puppy and my dad stole the puppy from me about 10 years ago. Now the Maltese lives in FL with my family and he didn't shed in Boston and he didn't shed here in FL. I currently live in central FL and have three dogs. My F1b doodle does not shed at all but his brother who lives in the same neighborhood and from the same litter does shed. For dogs who do shed, spring and fall is shedding season. But if you are in FL that extends to a huge part of the year due to the warmer climate. I want to say that March to July is the worst shedding season and I have 5 vacuums. The roomba does very little to actually clear out the house due to heavy shedding. I recommend the Dyson V6. I also use a lot of 3M rollers, I order packs of 10 on amazon. LOL However, I've recently found something truly is awesome thanks to my Bed Bath and Beyond. I always go there on the weekend and became friends with the manager and he recommended something like a miracle that I wish I had found earlier. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/gleener-the-ultimate...
This is amazing. My only complaint is that it is a bit larger than I would like and can only be used at home. I'd like a travel size one I can fit into my purse
I just put this on my Christmas list.
Fur balls congregate in certain places in our house. It's probably how the air flows in your new house.
