New to DoodleKisses

[Layla Fields]

Hi everyone!

My name is Layla and I'm officially a new member to DoodleKisses. I do not currently own a Doodle (nor have I ever), but I'm currently looking for one to take in and train to be my service dog. Pretty excited for that. I have bad anxiety so it'll be nice to have a loving companion around. 

My last furbaby was a Great Dane named Dakota. He's amazing and really helped me out a lot; he was my best friend. Despite his size, i'd take him with me everywhere- it was great! Unfortunately my dad took ownership of him when I joined the Army. Now here I am in WA state in an apartment and can't bring him up from TX, so that's my dilemma. Before Kota, I had a family dog named Lola who was a Labrador.
A Labradoodle would be perfect for me and my situation. I prefer the larger sized ones, but that's just me liking big dogs haha. Well, anyways I'm glad to be here! I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge about the dog mix and learning more about the Labradoodle community. 

Any advice/tips would be great since i'll be a new Doodle owner as soon as I find my future Labradoodle. Also, if anyone knows anyone who is rehoming/selling/adoption/giving away their doodle, let me know please.
